Curriculum
Academic
Teachers are required to develop daily academic lesson plans. Curriculum used at "CCC" is approved by The Early Learning Coalition of Florida's Heartland.
We have chosen to incorporate Creative Curriculum and the DL Early Learning Express. Components implemented consist of physical health, social and emotional
development, language and communication, cognitive learning, problem solving, emergent literacy, social studies, gross and fine motor development, art, music,
early reading, number skills and dramatic play. Teachers are encouraged to deviate from the written lesson plan when any teachable moment occurs.
We assure that any interest a child might have at any given moment will be address.
Spiritual
Spiritual teaching is a sizable focus of our day. Our spiritual curriculum includes Bible stories, songs, activities and prayer. We pray for our food and pray
for each other and our families. Children will pray as a group and be taught how God wants us to treat each other with kindness and how loving our family, friends
and teachers is a great way to live.
Screenings
Screening assessments are completed within the curriculum as well as individually. Vision and hearing screenings will also be available and all assessments require
written permission from the parent. Assessments and screenings are valuable in determining we are meeting the needs of your child.
